This cult-favorite skin care brand is selling avocado face masks, and now we're craving guac
If you were on the skin care scene back in 2017, a little-known brand called Glow Recipe probably caught your eye after the waitlist for its viral Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask surpassed 5,000 people. We’re pleased to report that the cult-favorite Korean skin-care company has thoroughly restocked since, and it’s also added tons of other naturally-derived products to its line (all in super cute packaging, of course).
A new twist on the brand’s original Avocado Melt line, the new products feature the same nourishing, avocado-centric formula with the addition of encapsulated retinol, a gentle alternative to ordinary retinol that improves uneven skin tone and reduces damage.
There are a couple of key differences between the two masks, one of which can be used on the whole face, and the other which is specifically intended for the eye area. The former also includes ingredient polyhydroxy acid for light exfoliation, while the latter boasts antioxidant-rich coffeeberry to soothe dark circles. The Avo Sleeping Masks clock in at $49 and $42, respectively, but if they’re anywhere near as effective as the Watermelon Glow variation, they’re worth it. Plus, if guac is extra, it only makes sense that these are, too.
You can shop the Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Mask and Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask exclusively at Sephora right now. Log on, add to cart, and get ready to turn your face into a platter of skin-care guacamole.
