It turns out that the photo of Travis Scott “cheating” on Kylie Jenner was all just an elaborate hoax set up by a prankster trying to “fool the internet.” On December 5th, YouTube personality ChristianAdamG posted a video titled, “We Fooled the Internet w/ Fake Travis Scott Cheating Photo,” revealing the photo was staged with a Travis look-alike—allegedly orchestrated to prove a point about not believing everything you see (sure, Jan). In the clip, he said “this video was NOT made to intentionally hurt Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner or the entire Kardashian family in ANY way shape or form.”

Well, the famous family doesn’t agree, and we get it. Kylie addressed the cruel hoax on her Instagram Story, calling the prankster out for “messing” with her life.

She wasn’t the only one to chime in on the matter. Older sisters Kim and Khloé also tweeted their disapproval.

Bottom line: Celebrities are real people with real lives and feelings, and there’s no excuse for this kind of “experiment.” Maybe just stick to a Justin Bieber look-alike eating a burrito next time, okay, buddy?
